Installing the MagneMagic magnetic scale softener only takes a few minutes and requires no tools.

Installing the MagneMagic magnetic scale softener
Step 1… Unpack the MagneMagic device from the wrapper, remove any packaging materials and separate the two halves of the MagneMagic device away from one another in order to avoid pinched fingers.
Caution: Strong Magnets
(Note that on occasion a magnet may come loose from the MagneMagic body. If that happens we are happy to replace the MagneMagic device, or you can put the magnet back in place and then install the loose-magnet side first, and then the other side. The loose magnet will NOT affect the performance of the MagneMagic.)
Step 2… Clamp the MagneMagic device around the pipe/tube. Try to locate the MagneMagic as close to the water output as possible to gain the maximum effect and benefit. (Note that the MagneMagic part size must be appropriate for the diameter of the pipe/tube. A larger MagneMagic can fit over a smaller pipe/tube; however, a smaller MagneMagic will not install over a larger pipe/tube.)
Step 3… OPTIONAL… Use the plastic zip tie to either faster the MagneMagic device together, or wrap the tube/pipe to prevent the MagneMagic device from slipping. This is useful if the diameter of the pipe/tube is slightly smaller than the MagneMagic part size.
Removal
To remove the MagneMagic magnetic scale softener, simply cut loose the plastic zip tie (if installed) and pull apart the two halves of the magnetic water treatment device.
